David White – Partner – Hoddesdon Under Sheriff of Hertfordshire

David is a Partner at Duffield Harrison LLP and has been a qualified Solicitor nigh on 35 years. He specialises in all aspects of Private Client work including Will making, Probate and Estate administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Lifetime Tax Planning.

David’s background was initially in Family Law having been a member of the Law Society Family Panel and a member of “Resolution – The First for Family Law”. David promotes a supportive and understanding approach to his Private Client and probate and Estate Administration work, doing his best to ensure clients are as much at ease as possible

through what can sometimes be a very traumatic period.

Outside of work, David is the current Under Sheriff of Hertfordshire, a role he was honoured to be appointed to in April 2026. He is also a Rotarian and President of the Rotary Club of Hoddesdon.  David is a current Trustee of the Love Hoddesdon BID which works tirelessly to promote and support the whole community.

David is a past Chair of a local youth football team, Bengeo Tigers FC, as well as a past Chair and Honorary Legal Adviser at Hertford Citizens Advice Bureau. He was also School Governor at a local Primary School for 10 years where he was Vice Chair to the Board of Governors. David has co-written (and featured on) 2 music albums with his wife Jenny Salmon.

David’s current leisure activities include enjoying time with his family, singing in a local choir, assisting his wife Jenny to run the sound desk at festivals and to often MC those events as well as acting as “Roadie” for Jenny who is a local gigging musician.
